Voice Lessons

Our liaison program with UW-EC vocal music majors has been a huge boost to the choirs over the past few years. We strongly recommend voice lessons for any choir member who wants to get "ahead of the pack" and improve their vocal skills. Cost is usually $10 for a 1/2 hour lesson once per week paid directly to the voice teacher. Teachers will work on vocal production skills, solfeggio, and counting rhythms using solo material as well as MHS choir music in progress. Students earn award points by taking lessons and may count their practice time on their practice chart. These lessons are particularly important now as the students prepare for their Honors Choir auditions in February and Solo/Ensemble Fest in April.
